Presenting single video files

Higher end packages come with the additional bonus of a video player plugin. Embedding the video player and presenting video material is a two-step process...

Step 1 - Adding video (flv) files

1. Click the 'Insert/Edit Link' icon on the toolbar
2. On the 1st tab, click the 'Browse Server' button
3. In the 'Resource Type' dropdown list in the top left, select 'Media'
4. Select the subdirectory 'flv' - if it doesn't exist, create it
   
5. Click the 'Browse' button to locate the video (flv) file on your computer
6. Click the 'Upload' button to transfer the file
7. Close the edit window - you do NOT want to actually make a link
   

Alternatively, you can FTP your video files into the correct directory:

swisscmsroot/content/Media/flv

Step 2 - Inserting the video player

1. Click the 'Insert/Edit Flash' icon on the toolbar
2. Click the 'Browse Server' button
3. Select the 'scms_video.swf' file
4. After '.swf' in the URL field, type '?videofile=/content/flv/example.flv'

The full URL field should now read:

1. Enter the width and height - the default is 320px x 240px
2. Click 'OK' to insert the Flash object

The final result is show below:
