Liquid Keywords

To allow a greater level of flexibility within your page layout, SwissCMS features a cunning keyword system.  By entering specific keywords in the left-hand column, you can drastically change the way a page is laid out.

The Keywords

plain - This keyword hides the logo lozenge (on the left) and the main page header image. Both page columns remains intact and are displayed as normal.  View Example...

hide - Typing this keyword into the left-hand column will completely hide the left-hand column and any subpage menu that may appear there.  The right-hand column will then stretch all the way across the screen. This keyword layout is ideal for displaying images or large amounts of text.  View Example...

full - For a really spacious layout, type this keyword into the left column.  When used, the main menu is hidden, along with the left column and both the logo lozenge and header image.  This layout is ideal for displaying large bodies of text or images without distracting the visitor with any other page decoration.  View Example...

redirect - For convenience or versioning, you may often wish to redirect an existing page to a new page.  To activate this layout on a page you must first enter the keyword into the left column and insert a link to the destination page (from the provided drop-down menu) into the right column.  When a visitor loads the old page, they will automatically and invisibly be redirected to the new page.  View Example

mailform - This keyword will embed an email form in the right-hand column of your page.  The left hand column remains intact.  View Example...

gallery - This keyword, entered into the right column, will embed an image gallery in the right-hand column of your page.  The left hand column remains intact and can be used for additional keywords  Read more...

calendar - This keyword, entered into the right column, will embed an events calendar on the page. The calendar is fully editable and can be combined with plain, hide and full. For more details, see the Events Calendar Plugin page.
