Better safe than sorry...

SwissCMS have recently added a new feature to the system in the form of a backup plugin.  This module allows users to conveniently backup all of their content to zip files and download them to their local computer for archiving.

Administrators can choose to download the complete content directory (default is 'content' within your root SwissCMS directory), or any one of the separate content dirctories - Image, File, Media and Flash.

To preserve the highest level of data integrity, zip files are NOT compressed and as such may take some time for the server to build and prompt for download.  Please be patient after clicking on a backup option.

Note - If a user chooses to download a backup file and terminates the operation before the file is fully downloaded, a copy of the zip file will remain on the server, within your content folder.  These 'orphaned' files will need to be deleted manually.
